Ryan Gil

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Chief Executive Officer

While earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University, Ryan authored peer-reviewed studies published in the Journal of Human Hypertension and the European Journal of Applied Physiology. At Columbia, he specialized in orthopedic physical therapy. His academic experience also includes several years teaching anatomy at Columbia University Medical Center and Florida State University.

Following his academic career, Ryan spent more than a decade providing medical home health care in Austin, San Francisco, and Miami. Through that experience, he had a defining realization: medical care delivered in the home was most effective when supported by fast, dependable communication. When patients, families, clinicians, and physicians remained connected, recovery became safer, smoother, and more efficient. That insight shaped Ryan's vision for a modern approach to home health care.

Laura Gil

Chief Operations Officer

Laura graduated magna cum laude from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Hospitality. She quickly gained momentum in business leadership, serving as Business Operations Director at Chick-fil-A before climbing the corporate ladder at Starbucks from Store Manager to District Manager.

While at Chick-fil-A, Laura coordinated the pilot of an outdoor drive-thru ordering model in which team members took customers' orders before they reached the window — an approach that has since become popular at drive-thrus throughout the United States. Laura brings extensive experience in multi-location operations, financial management, human resources, team development, and customer service to Royal Palm Home Health LLC, where she helps lead the agency's daily operations and continued growth.

Luz M. Luis-Bello

Director of Nursing

Luz earned her medical degree from the University of Havana and her Master of Science in Nursing from Miami Regional University. Her experience includes family medicine, home health nursing, and nurse case management.

Maria earned her nursing degree from the University of Havana. Her background spans family medicine, home health nursing, and nurse case management.

Jon brings specialized expertise in physical therapy and lymphedema management, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care directly in the comfort of our clients' homes.

Akio Ross

Doctor of Occupational Therapy

Akio earned his Doctor of Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Florida International University. His clinical experience spans home health, inpatient rehabilitation, and school-based care across the lifespan.

Akio's strengths include individualized treatment to improve self-care, motor skills, sensory integration, daily function, and safe independence. He also brings leadership experience coordinating interdisciplinary care, supervising occupational therapy assistants, and educating patients and families on practical techniques and equipment use to support meaningful participation and quality of life.

Kharen Cusihuamán

Business Operation Coordinator

Kharen holds a bachelor's degree in Language Interpretation Studies from Universidad Ricardo Palma. Her language skills in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French strengthen our agency's communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. With exceptional interpersonal skills and years of experience in healthcare settings, she plays an integral role in maintaining efficient daily workflows and expanding our network of professional relationships. Passionate about her work, Kharen finds fulfillment in helping patients access high-quality, timely, and compassionate care in the comfort of their homes.

Alex Lantz

Physical Therapist Assistant

Alex is a Physical Therapist Assistant with experience in outpatient, orthopedic, post-operative, and older-adult rehabilitation. He earned his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Concorde Career Institute, where he made the President's List four times, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida.

Alex focuses on helping patients improve mobility, balance, gait, safety, and independence. He also performs stand-up comedy in South Florida, bringing warmth, confidence, and a natural ability to connect with people to every patient visit.

Kelsey Manguson

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Kelsey earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, with a minor in Psychology, from Florida State University. A master of biomechanics and posture, Kelsey brings extensive experience from orthopedic and long-term rehabilitation.

Her strengths include post-surgical orthopedic and cardiac rehabilitation, balance and gait disorders, and neurological conditions. Kelsey also provides nutritional guidance and promotes mental wellbeing in her physical therapy approach, giving patients a caring and optimal path in their recovery.
